About This Event

One billion people

Earth Day is now an annual global event. With more than 1 billion people in 192 countries taking part, it has become the single, largest, civic-focused day of action in the world.

Earth Day is a time for political action and civic participation. People march, sign petitions, meet with their elected officials, plant trees, and clean up their towns and roads.

Corporations and governments use it to make pledges and announce sustainability measures.

Faith leaders, including Pope Francis and the Dalai Lama, connect Earth Day with protecting God’s greatest creations: humans, biodiversity, and the planet that we all live on.

Gen-Earth is both a youth celebration of Earth Day and an environmentally responsible day of action.

  • A gathering of uplifting indigenous storytellers and keynote youth speakers that will motivate you with engaging ideas to protect our planet.
  • An introduction to fresh ideas, inspiring individuals, eco-conscious companies, products and processes that will enable you to take meaningful action in support of a healthy planet.
  • A platform for different cultures to collaborate on new concepts by participating in art, music, performances, education, and regenerative actions to enhance our connection to, and understanding of, Mother Earth.

Our Vision: to help inspire our youth, our communities, and our policy makers to take simple actions every day for the protection of our ecosystems and the environment.

100% of the event proceeds will be dedicated to building an educational program for schools across North America, providing teachers and students with environmentally regenerative solutions to feed the world and cool the planet.

Gen-Earth is bullfrog-powered with 100% green electricity.
This means that Bullfrog Power‘s generators put 100% green power into the grid to match the amount of conventional electricity the event uses, displacing energy from polluting sources. Across Canada, Bullfrog’s green electricity comes from a blend of wind and low-impact hydro power sourced from new Canadian renewable energy facilities.
